A few words about the Poet: Jean Moréas was the pseudonym of the Greek-born poet Ioannis Papadiamantopoulos (1856 - 1910), who settled permanently in Paris and pioneered French Symbolism (a movement not limited to the faithful representation of reality, considering imagination and dream as an integral part of artistic creation and characterized by evocativeness, using images and objects with a symbolic meaning). In 1878 he published his only poetry collection in Greek, Trygones and Echidnai, a collection characteristic of his oscillation between the new and the old.

A few words about the Sculptor: French sculptor Antoine Bourdelle (1861 - 1929) was a student of Auguste Rodin, a teacher of Alberto Giacometti and Henri Matisse, and an important figure of the Art Deco movement.
