A few words about the Poet: Achilleas Paraschos (1838 - 1895) was one of the most popular poets of the A' Athenian School, whose main characteristic is Romanticism. In 1881 he collected his poems in three volumes, which he classified in three parts: epic, patriotic and elegiac - erotic. In the latter, the romantic element reaches parody and marks the end of Greek Romanticism.

A few words about the Sculptor: The sculptor Georgios Dimitriadis (1880 - 1941) is considered the most prolific of the modern Greek sculptors, with numerous works, statues and busts, in every region of Greece. In 1924 he won the first prize at the 1924 Olympic Games in France with his statue "Discobolus", and in 1936 he was elected an academic and awarded the Award of Excellence in Sculpture.
