Very close to the center, at number 4 of Amynta Street in Proskopon Square in Pagkrati, there is the beloved restaurant of the Greek people of art and letters, the historic "Magemenos Avlos" (Enchanted Flute). This was the favorite place of the Academy Award winning composer Manos Chatzidakis, who lived next door and used to drink his morning coffee there, putting his music to the lyrics of poet Nikos Gatsos and sharing vivid discussions with many other intellectuals, actors and musicians. In a lush green corner with the charm of tradition, time seems to have stood still, while "Magemenos Avlos"  continues its uninterrupted course.
